Will Canon announce another Camera?

I wonder whether Canon will announce any other Cameras than the D10 anytime soon. I hope for a successor to the D1 (´cause I want to buy a used D1...).

I don´t consider the 1Ds a true successor to D1 since it shoots much slower. No sports photographer / photojournalist will trade his D1 for a D1s.

Does anyone know anything about Canon´s plans ?

I assume you mean a 1D as Canon do not make the D1, Nikon do!
I can sell you a Nikon D1 if you are after one!

Oops, sorry, of course I mean 1D. Someone in Canon's PR department should be beaten for naming the Cameras 1D, D30, 10D, D60...

Normal shelf life averages 9 months. Perhaps there is already a new design sitting in the chariman's room.

It is unlikely that Canon would announce a new camera so soon after PMA. Perhaps in 3-6 months a new camera will be announced but PMA is the forum where camera, equipment, and film manufactures announce new offerings.
