Used Digital Rebel?

My wife is thinking of buying a used Digital Rebel from a friend that was bought a little over a year ago. The friend has used it about all of 4 times. Could anyone give an idea as to how much one would be worth?

It is being sold with the kit lens, 1GB CF, a remote controller and a remote switch.

I just sold a DReb that was about 3 months old with the kit lens a lowepro case,2 - 256 MB RAM for $600.00 Canadian.

Considering you can get a brand new one with all that and more from camera shops on E-bay for about $700, I wouldn't pay more than about $500

id get a brand new one for the $$$ at least youll have a warrantee and youll know its brand new.
but thats just me.. if you want to buy it, offer $400.00 - $500.00 for it.

if it's that lexar 1 gig 80x CF card, isn't that the recalled one that comes with the 350D?

I just sold my Drebel body only (with about 1500 shutter actuations) for $500 CDN.....I packaged it all up in the box, manuals, plastic, bubble wrap, twist ties and all (original). It was almost like selling a brand new camera....lol
