A month ago my SIL passed away from complications from the H1N1 virus. We have been spending a lot of time with my niece and nephew since then. I took this picture today. We had a few minutes alone so I asked her to pose for some picture for me. Even though she has been such a strong little girl, I thought this pic really showed her emotions.

She's a beautiful young lady! You can tell she's strong (she has very wise looking eyes) but you can tell she's vunerable, too.

I am so sorry for your family's loss. (hugs)

HOw awful, she'll definitely need people around her. Ensure that people ask her how she feels and include them in conversations etc. As a child losing someone close to me as a youngster all the adults spoke to my parents only and never included me sadly.
