The title speaks for itself. What do my POTN peeps think of my logo?

I'm not too sure. There is a rather large space between the 'd' and the 'i', and word 'images' is right up close to the edge of the border. Centre it up a bit i reckon..

I'm a relative newcomer but the capitalisation of random letters gives a first impression of immaturity.

Do you have versions which are not on a black background as well?

that's a good point too.

hmmm.... never thought of that. Why that impression? I only have it on the black background. Thanks for the CC.

I don't like the lower/upper caps and the white/red colors. Too me it looks too busy because of that. Your text isn't even centered inside the box....

Random lower/upper caps is what I associate with teenagers. I don't know why, it could just be me. But it doesn't convey a mature and professional service.

I like logos to be simple. I've yet to design my own but I would like to keep my simple.

I suppose having the second characters of each word in upper case makes it hard to process visually. Like the above poster, it looks as if the letter "s" hasn't been given adequate space.

i agree with the others. its kind of sloppy and unprofessional with all the random caps

too busy, frame too bold, red color looks faded out

I actually kind of like it. What market are you catering too? This has a funky clever vibe and modern, so if that defines your market, then this is good. I think photogs should have images on their business cards, that's just me.

With everything now being iThis and iThat, (iPad, iPhone, etc.), I read your logo as "TDD eye-may-jes", and I bet others will as well.

Agreed also that it looks more like "random capitalization" that teenagers do.

I look at it and see the name tim spelled out across the red letters.

**edited to add: uhh..I just read that your name is tim after the fact. lol

:DIts a good start...

I would keep going with the Tim part in red, i like that!

lOtS oF CaPS iN RANdOM PlAcEs Confuses the mind, and takes us away from what your logo is all about!

A clever tip for you:

If you replace (idealy the letter A, E, I, O ,U) backwards, you can still read the whole word, but as a letter is out of place, it forces us to re-read the word again!

Unisg the pweor of the hmuan mnid, it dseno't mttaer in waht oderr the lterets in a wrod are, the olny irpoamtnt tihng is taht the frsit and lsat ltteer be in the rhgit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it whoutit a pboerlm. Tihs is bucseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey ltteer by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe

As you can see, i actualy like where your going with it, but refine it! make it funky so people will remember it!
