Here are two of better quality than the 'action shots' I just posted.
Hope you enjoy.

Very nice close-ups Cobra. These insects are very difficult to get good captures of. Perhaps I'll post a couple of mine this evening.

Very nice shots! I've gotten tons of those blue-tailed dudes, but I've never seen the red one before. Do you have any showing more of it's tail? It look cool.

Thanks all, glad you enjoyed them. I really have a fun time chasing them around waiting to get a good shot, neat little creatures. Talk about a challenge!

Very nice shots, number # 2 especially (has personality like a "pixar" character), perfect dof imo and great color. Did you use the "100 2.8 Macro lens" and the rebel xt to capture this ohh yea and did you use a tripod?
Cheers!

Thanks again all, I really appreciate it.
Did you use the "100 2.8 Macro lens" and the rebel xt to capture this ohh yea and did you use a tripod?
The first one was with the 70-200, the second was using the 100 Macro. Both were taken with the XT, and neither were shot with a tripod. No rest for that matter, all hand held.
