I took this photo of the flower girl at a friend wedding. I love photographing kids and this little girl was so cute. I used a 75-300mm canon lens but this was a very low light situation and I afraid this is as good as it gets. I wish this was more clear.

All I did was run this one thru noiseware community version.

Ran through Noise Ninja and applied generous USM. Could do a lot more with a RAW file or at least a full sized JPG.

Nice one pdrow! I am at work so i cannot rework it but since it looks a little out of focus why not celebrate that fact and add a diffused glow?

I shot this with a Digital Rebel and converted it to b&W in Photoshop here is the color one

Aweeeeee thank you.
I adjusted the levels, dodged the shadows around her eyes, dodged the whited, burned the iris and a little bit around the eyes to bring back a bit of detail. Ran through Neat IMage and ran a softening action. If you would like to email me the original, I'll see what I can do.

Is this the orignal size? It would be best to have the largest file possible. Thanks!
She is a sweetheart BTW!

No it would not let me post the original size. It does not appear to let me email the original to you either. You can provide me with your email mak8ce@charter.net if you would like me to forward the actual original to you. Thanks!

Great mood.

I'd crop differently -- tall skinny rectangle. Include all of her shoes at the top edge (the position of the shoes adds a little humor to her pose, makes look less like she's just tired and lying on floor), and include the reflection of her in the floor (all the way to bottom of larger pic).

I think mdenigris had the right post-processing -- noise reduction and USM. Maybe also burn (darken) the gold fabric thing behind her a little, and try a little red-eye reduction.

nice.

Matty B, great effort. I love how you kept the shoes in the shot.
