Huge Nasty Bug...LOL

Well this is my first time posting a picture...hope I do it right. This bug, known from what I can find as an "Eastern Hercules Beetle"..appropriately named as this thing was on my deck rail and at least 2" in length...it was unbelieveable. Shot this with my 300D and 28-80 lens...it wasn't quite light out so the flash blinded it I think..LOL :lol: hope to be able to post some more pics for some good feeback on them as I do so love photography. Great forum here and am absorbing all the info my little brain will take. Have a great day all!

That looks like a good shot!..A little bigger would make it easier to see.

Thanks for the reply...I;m not sure how to make this pic bigger...It came in right under the 8k limit and when I tried to go bigger, it exceeded the 8k...am I doing something wrong on my sizing?

The limit for photos is 100k not 8k. What you may be thinking of is the shots have to be reduced to a max of 800 pixels in either direction.
