I'd like some comments and advice about this image, as I'm venturing into black & white and sepia toned photos. Taken with a Canon 20D and a Tamron 28-75 XR Di, f/3.2, ISO 100, 0/2 EV.
Thanks!

Well, i LOVE shots like this, I love those old dalapidated barns. I also love the choice of sepia tone, i think it compliments the content nicely.
It's a bit contrasty for me. I would have exposed for the sky, then stopped it up a few notches. Get some more detail in the sky, and keep a decent amount of shadow detail. Maybe get a wider angle lens, move in a little more, down a little lower... meh... just nit picking. Right now it's a nice shot, but I think with a little messing it could be really fabulous.

Nice shot, but, you guys! Spend 4 figures on a cam & everybody wants to go back to the B&W dark ages! ;-)
Now, if you want true B&W realism, I'd be willing to trade a tried & true, classic & authentic B&W cam for whatever your using. See the avatar for a pic. (That sounded pretty good. Maybe I should put it on eBay! )

I really like this shot - there's a great atmosphere to it
I wonder what it would look like with a warm sepia tone too?
