Fully loaded Domke F-802, around 22 pounds. If I get really desperate and there is not other choice, Adventure 9 - 26 pounds. I'm not carry more than that.

At one point my F1x weighed around 35 lb. So I've stopped weighing my loaded bags. If I don't know what they weigh, they can't weigh more than that, can they? :{)#

My Lowepro stealth reporter 200 filled to the brim 11 pounds. I have the D400 version on order currently. I have to use a walker due to spinal cord issues and even 11 pounds seems like a lot to lug around.

I've never weighed it but fully loaded, like airport bound, it's way too heavy.

Use my Pelican 1650 for light gear and 1510 for camera a lot of the time as well...

1650 is 75lbs right now,
1510 is 32lbs.

Damn.

Last time I weighed a full bag (I had to for W&B concerns in a light aircraft) my Computrekker Plus AW tipped the scales at 40lbs.

This meant in order to take the gear I wanted, I actually had to ship clothes to Oshkosh last summre via UPS and then ship them home at the end of the week. :D

Dedicated? You betcha!!

40-60 lbs depending on if i have the noink 400 2.8 with me and 2x converter. plus tripod. the best part is hiking through the everglades with all this crap, really a workout by the time you're done. i hate carrying 2/3 systems at once but no pain no gain.

My planning for AirVenture 2010 is already centered on driving. I've had to turn down several "fly along" offers simply because with both the 500 f/4 and 300 f/2.8, I can't make the allowed useful load limits being imposed!

if you guys have lenses that exceed the carry on limit, think about checking them in in a bag that has a weapon declared in it. there was a thread on doing this some time ago, works like a charm. if you declare a weapon, TSA is on your bag like white on rice, keeping track of its every move. only for U.S.A as far as i know though.

With those lenses? Oh, no, seriously no...I'm already cringing at the thought of those having to go as checked baggage and its not my gear!

I won't even consider flying with my gear-I have absolutely no problems driving anywhere I need to go. Recently one of my newer co-workers questioned me about my refusal to fly and bust out laughing when I told him that in fact I did fly-"I fly Air Infiniti!"

Anyway, since I'm contemplating picking up a couple of primes here in the next month or so, I'm already rehearsing my excu...er, justifications for a bigger boat...while my spine looks at me very strangely:lol:

Fully loaded 25 lb. Fits easily into the overhead.

PacSafe Daypack 200. Canon G9, cards, charger, 2 batteries. Canon 5DM2, charger, cards, three batteries. 24-105 L Is, 16-35 L, 70-200 L f4 IS, 15mm f2.8 FE. 1.4 and 2x TCs. Flash, charger, 8 batteries. Laptop, charger, card reader, pocket 500GB hard drive, cables. Gitzo CF monopod and tripod (strapped to outside). Filter pack with 6 filters, 77mmm and 72mm.

Add in a change of underwear, socks and a small towel, toiletries, plus a little pack that holds 8 days of meds.

45 pounds. Just fits in an overhead. At this weight I'm good for between car and check-in for flight, between major travel points--hotel to terminal, terminal to hotel, train platform to train platform, etc.-- once in room, everything is disassembled. Daysafe has inner bag with self-contained mesh that becomes a room safe, locked to radiator (for instance) and keeps laptop and kit I don't need for that day safe, while the backpack holds what I need for shooting that day. All-in-all it works out.

Also a rolling case with regular sets of clothes and usual items. Case also takes tripod and monopod except when I'm flying. This is contrary, it seems, but I'd rather arrive in country with them than find them missing from the suitcase--which happened on a flight from Milwaukee once.

My canon bag loaded weights about 45 pounds. It would be a little heavier if I pack the L lens like the 85 1.2 and the 70-200 2.8.

Hahaha last week I flew to Chile for FIDAE 2010 and I took my Airport TakeOff as carry on (35lbs almost) and I checked a backpack with my clothes that was 5lbs at most! Haha

You got the 500L Jay? Congratulations!

My goal for FIDAE 2012 is to go with, at least, a 300 f/2.8L and TCs... but I'd love a 500L!

I have a friend who went last year to Oshkosh and he drove all the way from Miami to the AirVenture, then to Udvar-Hazy Center and then back to Miami

I love my 300 + 1.4X but now that I've seen 500 naked and 500 + 1.4X, I can see where the 300 + 2X was really struggling IQ wise. Really, nothing beats native reach.

I have a friend who went last year to Oshkosh and he drove all the way from Miami to the AirVenture, then to Udvar-Hazy Center and then back to Miami

Now that would be a fantastic itinerary! If I do go to OSH, I'll have to look for some intersting stops along the way coming home afterwards.

There are some great "Mom and Pop" museums all over the middle part of the USofA.

I use a Lowepro Computrekker Plus AW and pack it with all of my gear. It weighs enough that I feel it by the end of the day. It weighs about 40 pounds or so (Even heavier if I bring my laptop along with the power brick). The sad thing is that I often find myself wanting the bag to be bigger because with all my gear in it I can hardly zip it shut!

Thinktank Airport Antidote v1.0 + Laptop + Big Bazooka

Last I measured, it was just shy of 30 lbs.

I found out that it was a bit too much for me though, after literally walking around all day with this thing on my back. When I cut the weight down to 20-25 lbs, it was a lot more bearable, and I'm 5'10" ~170 lbs for reference.

My normal carry bag an F2, weighs in about 22lbs.

My light carry bag, is an F5xb which weighs in about 7-8 lbs.

All my gear(minus light stands, etc..) in a gorilla pack, weighs in well over 30lbs (not really sure exactly, never weighed it, and honestly very rarely do I ever carry everything anyways)

I always knew my Vertex 200 backpack was heavy, but I've just put it on the scales. With my 055PROB and M10 attached its 34 lbs, but the tripod and head accounts for 6 lbs of that.

Thats with two cameras, four lenses and all the associated paraphenalia.

I struggle with mine at 34 lbs, how on earth do you manage 100 lbs?

Its not the carrying, because the Vertex 200 is very comfortable on my back, its the getting it on and off thats awkward.
