"Meow! Bark! Honk! Hiss! Grrr! Tweet!"

One of these is not like the other :D

All of them except "bark!" are sounds that animals make, not what they do.

When you imitate a cat, you say "meeeeow!" or when you imitate a bird, you might say "tweeet!"

However, when you imitate a dog, you most certainly do not say "bark!"

You say "woof!"

I expect that this change will be swift!

And while I'm at it, there's a typo in the subtitle of the Wildlife forum!

All of the critters that walk, craw, hop, swim...

I'm ducking for cover at this point :(

How do you know it wasn't supposed to be "claw"!??
And what about insects, they don't say anything. Should we then use "Eeeek!" (the human reaction)? Or fish (gulp, gargle, gargle, drown)?

Well, I've had several dogs for whom the closest approximation to their noises would be "bark". We've only had one that sounded anything like "woof".
