The first price that Canadian Dealers were giving in Onatario was $2799 however as of yesterday the price has dropped to $2499. :) :). I ordered one from a Dealer in Calgary at a price of $2425 plus GST(7%). As there is no PST in Alberta that is an additional savingis of 8% or $199 if I purchased in Ontario. I was given a delivery date of late next week or early the following week. I'm in no hurry so if it takes a month no big deal.

Yup, I have mine ordered, and am getting the reduced price. Should be in next week also.

What's that work out to be in US $? They're pre-ordering for $1499.99 US here...and a delivery date of the first week in April...

$2425 Cdn is approximately $1655 US

I ordered from ecost a few days ago, $1455 US including priority overnight. The expected delivery is the same "beginning of April". This will be my third camera, and probably 20th order through ecost with nothing but good results.

You need to add customs which will be higher than what the Canadian price if you go through ecost I believe

I ordered my D30 from Canada and did not have to pay any customs fees, may have changed in the last couple of years, but not then.

I did learn from Fedex NOT to use a company name for the ship to, just your personal name.

Dealer just called and my 10D will be shipped AM tomorrow from Alberta which means I should have it by Tuesday:D. No weekend delivery in my part of Ontario. :(

Fast Service! I just got a call this afternoon from the dealer in Ontario where I placed my D10 order and it came in from Canon today. I only ordered last Friday so I would say that is fairly quick delivery, they must have good stock on hand at the Canon warehouse to start off.
Good luck to everybody that has ordered in getting quick deliveries.
