Wow...I was not fortunate enough to be that close...I had to do multitasking by having the video camera on one hand and my camera on the other.

Makes me wish I could find the pic I have of my older son ...... he had just been born, peed all over the doctor (lol) and he was being held up in all his boyish glory with all of his hair! LOL Cone head and all!

But alas.... unless I can find the pic and scan it, I won't be able to post. My older son is nearly 11 years old!!! :( *sniffles* My younger son we didn't have any pics immediately after birth.... at that point, we were lucky that Dad was there since I almost made him go home to get the video camera... good thing he didn't listen.... son would have been born before he had gotten back!

found them but haven't had a chance to scan due to Easter and the preparations for it. Will try and get to it this week :)

My second child was born June 2009. Here's a shot taken about 30 seconds after being removed by C-section (he was breach). I have shots of the doctors removing him but they are rather bloody. I might post one after converting to B/W.

Layla about a minute after she was born. I delivered at home with a midwife in my own bed...it was glorious. I had to have antibiotics which is why I have the IV in my hand.

(I WISH he understood focal points, as this would have been a much better picture if it had been focused on babe and not my hair, nonetheless still lovely)

This is my son as he is being born - 5 weeks early! We have a great series of these that I love - taken by my husband with our P&S. Hope it's not too much detail for some - all I see is a magical moment that changed my life forever! (By the way, my now 5 year old son still has the same expression when he is woken up!!)
