does it need processing? lacking scale?

you seem to have gotten a kite surfer in your landscape shot... :)

I'd say yes, to both queries. It needs the blacks adjusted some, maybe a contrast boost; the surfer isn't prominent enough in the frame to make an important part of the composition; the kite itself sort of distracts the eye, and you REALLY have to search to find the surfer.

It's a neat idea, but when you include people in the frame to show scale, you want them to be large enough to be seen.

Also, this would be more of a landscape shot than a sports shot. If it were a sports shot, you'd want the surfer to be the most prominent part of the composition.

You could do some easy PP to it. That would bring out more colors and details, and you could fix the horizon. I like the idea of using the reflection of sun to silhouette the kite surfer. Just ask him to ride closer to you next time. It would look better if he and the kite filled more of the frame.

Great feedback, thanks.. There were buildings near the shore that made a wind shadow so it was tough to ride close.. Ill try it again with a on shore wind and see if i can get the rider closer..

Depending on the lay of the land, you may find that 200mm doesn't let you or the rider get close enough. Good luck with the shoot, though! :)
