I've had the attached image printed at 20*30 inches, so it's a pretty decent size, and it's been enlarged beautifully (by the print shop). It's going to be hung on my lounge wall, alongside other prints of the same size - and one that's 30 inches wide and about 15 inches high because I cropped it.

The bottom third of this image is solid black in the print, which I did in photoshop to emphasize the already dark area. Would you crop some of it off, and if so, how much?

i would crop some of the black bottom off and keep all of the indigo blue sky.

Nice shot. I'm no expert, but I'd crop it just a bit above your name so that the area from the top of the trees (the ones in the distance) to the bottom of the shot occupies about 1/3 of the area.

(Sorry for cropping out your copyright).

I like Swalters idea of it, but I think I like the original the best.
Try covering part of the print with something, and see what happens.

Crops may look good on screen, but might look a bit weird when it ends up taking 5" off your print.

I could always crop after it's mounted by using a hacksaw ;)

I like it like it is. Hmm... that's a lot of likes'es and it'es.

But I also like this crop, a little more extreme version of what swalter was doing. Plus it gives you a unique print size/shape.

Thanks everyone. I sent it to be mounted as-is :)

i like the largest, the best. IMO it leaves the part you most want to focus on (the roll of evil clouds and the sun light) in the center of the pic, if you were to crop the bottom, then i think the top would look to bland.
