I know it happens to everyone but this time it's been longer than usual (at least for me). I was doing a 365 project and everything was going fine. However, little by little, it turned from a fun project to a dreaded assignment. I got so tired of feeling like I had to shoot that I just stopped shooting in order to get back the love for photography. However, I'm still not in my groove of taking pics like I was before I got burned out.
My question is, how do you deal with burnout? Am I just lacking inspiration?

Here's something you can use to chart where you are in the burnout process
Most everyone has peaks and valleys. And most everyone will get back to normal.

Good news then! My 100mm f2.8L is coming soon(ish). I'm hoping that'll help.
As for the chart, I'm pretty much on the low side.

There's a reason it's called Therapeutic Money Spending*.

Put the DSLR away and use a point and shoot for awhile. Start meeting people again and then learn why you liked photography in the first place.
Or go to a war zone and take photos. That'll wake you up.
