Splendid macros Marie! It's funny how the spiderweb in the first shot makes it look like there are droplets of water suspended in air as they fall onto the flower. But my favorite is the deep red/burgundy rose. It's not a color I've encountered in my own work, and I just really enjoyed the color. Reading your posts since I joined this forum, it's apparent that you're a botanist of sorts. I admire your work and respect your opinion. If you have time one day, maybe you could peruse my gallery of the Shakespeare Rose Garden in San Francisco... it may be a place you'd like to visit someday!

Thanks for posting, and keep up the good work.

thanks very much for your nice comments dave
I am glad you noticed the droplets in that shot
it was a bit unusual catching them like that in the web.
the flowers were hanging on a wooden shed so the spiders enjoyed swinging from a safe perch .
and you mention the burgundy coloured rose,
I really love the colour also and never saw a rose of quite that shade before.
Not a perfect shot but the colour is really beautiful.....and thats no credit to me
> + maybe a little more light on this one 1975 : )

very nice macros. The weather is so cold I have been walking thru my house finding things to take macros of. Hopefully I will get some up later tonight.
