We bought a bunch of items from someone that had closed their jewelry stores down. Got a bunch of tools for pretty cheap. $300 total invested. And I've already found over a dozen single items that are worth $100 or more individually. Needless to say, we'll make our money back on this stuff. But, there's also plenty of junk that just has to be thrown away as well. Anyway, in one little box I found this.

It doesn't work, but we'll be getting the mainspring for it tomorrow and clean/repair it. Probably just put it on my desk or something. Anyone know if they are worth anything. I only found 1 on ebay. it has a different dial, but it has 1 day left and it's up to $91.00 and still says, "Reserve not met."

Nice shots but I suspect you'll have more luck finding an answer in a watch forum like watchuseek, no?

It looks very much like an early aviation aircraft clock that you would find in the instrument panel.

Well I guess its worth would be in what it came out of and if its needed to do a proper resto on an acft.

Very Cool Find...

I bet aviation collectors and mavens (such as myself) would find some value in this.

Generally speaking, unless there's some unique provenance (came from the Spirit of St Louis, etc) something as mundane as an Elgin clock won't really set the world on fire. It's cool but fairly common.
