I know there were probably a bunch of these posted, but I was just pleased as to how this turned out. Comments and advice will be much appreciated.

Very nice. Can you give some details on how you did it? camera settings, tripod, lens, etc.

It looks like a pretty long exposure based on the number of fireworks in the pic.

Sure. It was taken with a Canon 20D and the Tamron 28-75 XR Di. I shot it with a tripod in Av mode. Aperature: f/22 ISO: 800 Exposure: 25 seconds Exposure bias: 0 EV

Are you sure that this is a single shot. It looks more like a composite of several shots to me. Did you do any photoshopping work?

Yes, I'm positive that it is NOT a composite. I clicked the shutter when they sent up the first volley of fireworks and did a 25 second exposure while the other ones went off. It was shot in RAW, so of course there was post-production involved. The only thing done in Photoshop was sharpening after the RAW conversion was completed. I have several other shots like this, should you care to see them.

Nice shot! I usually shoot one burst & cheat in PS! Blend Modes can be your friend. :D

I use to do fireworks in the bulb mode at ISO 100 AV between 11 and 22.
You can keep the shutter open as long as you want and can get a lot of explosions in one photo.
Why don't you use this bulb option ?
