Second day of baseball practice for my son and first day of "practice" for shooting photos. Still no budget for a fancy zoom lens so I needed to get comfortable using my 75-300.

Keep shooting all you can... try to get the faces in the shots when batting, etc. also when behind the fence take your lens hood off and put the lens up against the fence be careful. but find a nice spot so that you can get a good shoot of the pitcher coming right at you...
70-300mm should be good for LL..
have fun,
Joe
