I just bought the Canon T1i with 18-55mm lens. I also got a Canon EF 75-300mm III lens.

I want to buy a bag to store my camera and gear in. What type of bag are you all using? And which of the three below would you recommend?

I've looked at the Canon 2400:

I've also looked a the Canon 100EG:

And Canon 200DG:

Thanks!!

Crumpler 5 or 6 MDH would do you well.

I have the Canon 200EG backpack and the Tenba Large Messenger. Both hold everything in my sig w/room to spare. The Tenba holds all my gear plus my laptop when I travel, its a little tight, but everything fits.

Do you want a bag or a backpack? IMO, backpacks are more incognito, not to mention easier to carry. How much do you want to spend?

My Lowepro AW200 is perfect for the gear that I have. Holds 4 lenses, body, flash and various accessories.

I've recently changed from shoulder bag to back pack and I wished I'd done it years ago.

I have the Tamrac Adventure 75.

This will allow you to remain incognito as you travel with your new camera

Check out the Accessories and Storage forum, you'll find some really great threads to help you choose.

I'm using the Tenba Shootout Medium (http://www.tenba.com/products/Shootout-Medium-Sling-Bag.aspx) sling bag and am very pleased with it. I like how I can rotate the bag to my front, and have instant access to the camera.

I currently store the following in my bag: gripped T1i with 24-70mm 2.8L mounted, 50mm 1.8, 85mm 1.8, 10-22mm, and 70-200 4L. I keep all of the hoods up in the top compartment (all nestled together) along with 2 chargers and a spare battery. My 1.4x TC and 2.0X TC fit in the top compartment as well. There's a little pouch on the front that I use to keep my 67mm and 77mm polarizers, and a little pouch on the main flap holds my lens cloth and extra SHDC cards. The only lens I can't cram in there is my 100-400mm. Also, the bag won't hold the camera with the 70-200mm mounted in it's current configuration. If you don't have as much crap in the bag as I do, you can convert it into a long lens bag by removing the divider from the top section and the main section. It's a pretty versatile bag if you don't need a bigger bag. I absolutely love it.

I had a hard time deciding between the Tenba and the Slingshot 200. I owned them both for a short while. The Slingshot is a great bag too! Can't go wrong with it.

Thanks for the suggestions!

I just needed a bag to fit my T1i, 18-55mm lens, 75-300mm lens, extra battery & charger and zippers for extra SD Cards.

I purchased the Tamrac 5502:

I've got the canon 200EG bag that I use for trips & traveling, very wonderful bag, I've had it going on 2.5 years now. I also have a lowepro slingshot 200 that I use for hiking trips, I like it just wish it was a little bit bigger, but it works! I also have a Jill-E medium size bag for weddings and other nice photo-shoots! Some might say I have too many, but I'm a girl, I've got to have a bag for every occasion! :)

I have the sneaking suspicion that I'm going to need multiple bags for different scenarios. I have an old Lowepro bag that I used for my P&S camera. I now keep my filters and flash in there. When I only need 2 lenses and my camera (not the 100-400 or 70-200), I often use this bag. It's so much easier when I only take what I need!
