Thought I'd get away from seascapes for awhile and head into the bush, couldn't find a good point of interest but I just had to capture this light. Hopefully the colours hold their own.

Jake these are wonderful pics, particularly the subtle colors in the first one. It looks like there are a couple of people or something (white specs) that want to draw my eye, not sure that is good and I'd probably downplay or remove them since it's hard to tell what they are.

Wonderful work!
Camera? Settings? Lens?

Thanks Kenny, the specs you're seeing are cows in the first one :p, I might burn them in/clone them out now that you mention it.

Camera: XT/350D Lens: 18-55 F3.5-5.6

First shot: Manual Exposure, F 7.1, 1/50, ISO 100
Second Shot: Manual Exp, F22, 1"6, ISO 100 (stopped right down to get the slow shutter for some deep colour and movement in the grass)

Another from this day....it's 6 frames vertically, each frame was exposed twice during RAW conversion to achieve the dynamic range and have a ND Grad look to it. The separate exposures were then blended and stitched manually in Photoshop. Canon 350D, F1.8 50mm II

They are all good. But the last one is fantastic. Beautiful panos.
