Sorry about the harsh lighting. The mountain bike was outside in harsh sunlight and the Joint Honda-GM built jet engine for small corporate aircraft was inside a huge red tent at the MotoGP at Laguna Seca this weekend.

A "NO horsepower" bike & an engine without wheels? Geeez, Skip! Where are the cars? :D

Skip...that mountain bike was insane!
I believe that it actually has a 7 speed internal transmission inside that carbon fiber casing. No conventional sprockets on that mountain bike!
Not to mention the twin spar frame it had! I can't imagine how much $$$ in R&D is in that thing!

They would need some Reeeeally large brakes if they did. :lol:
Honda and GM went together on a Jet ENGINE? Hmm.

Andy, I'm sure that mountain bike frame was milled out of solid unobtainium :rolleyes:

Cropped for powertrain detail. There appears to be a transmission in a carbon fiber enclosure behind the front "sprocket".
