A few photos from todays practice before my Sigma 120-300 died from a stuck aperture diaphram. Hopefully it can be repaired or else I'm stuck. :(

Thanks Dessie. Don't be fooled by the bright sunshine in the pictures. Rain came on as soon as the races started in mid afternoon. By that stage the big Sigma had already gone belly-up and was unusable so I packed up and watched the races from the car as the rain hammered down.
It was freezing too. Felt sorry for the riders who'd got all their settings for the dry in practice and had to endure that.

Red Dog, do you have the DG or non-DG version of the 120-300?

Lens currently with Sigma UK and the good news is they can repair it. Unfortunately its almost £160 for the repair, but at least it'll keep the old girl going a while longer.
