The bridge is Throgs Neck bridge in New York. In the first pic, you can see the rain coming down in the far side (above the bridge). The 2nd one was taken right after the storm. The storm last for about 5 minutes. Hope you like! C&C are welcomed.

Yes, both are nice though very different. I think I prefer the color.

Hmm I like both shots...the moodiness of the B&W appeals a lot, but it might be lacking some contrast and the colours in the second are very nice.

Hi Leorooster,
I think you have improved it........I had a go myself, hope that's okay. I played with curves, a bit of dodging and burning and a touch of sharpening.
Roger.

Leo, I love the second one, but (just my opinion) I'd crop the bottom out and just leave the bridge and sunset.

Ken, thanks for your constructive coments. I actually have a cropped version of just the bridge and I love it, but in this particular one I just wanted to show the silhouettes as well.
Thanks again!

Oh, I understand, it's still a great pic, just two different instantiations (to use a computer programming word :) ) of it.
Best,

Thanks Roger. PS is one thing I need to work on when I have time. The one that you put up looks great, but it's hard to compare the deatil as they're in different size. Anyway, here is the original one, see if you like it:

Hi again Leo, well I must admit I actually prefer the shot in colour......yes sorry about the size of the return image but it was the only way I could get it under 100k without losing too much quality.
Roger.

Bigun....alright, I know you like bridge, but you don't need to post twice;) ;) ;) . Just j/k, I did it twice previously, not knowing that the 1st one came through.
Anyway, I am glad that you like it. Thanks for your kind words.
