This is Wayne's '70 Nova. It's a numbers matching car, but if you're confused by the rear view, the tail lights are from a '71.
It has a 375 bhp 396 engine through a 3000 Stahl automatic transmission & 4.10 positraction rear end. The cam is .600" lift with roller rockers.

Now if you removed the SS, and 396 badging, this would be the definition of "Sleeper". :D

Yep, without the emblems it could almost be mistaken for just another 307-2V "smog dog".

Absolutely beautiful, I love the look all black & dog dish's and big power plants. Like Bruce said, it would be perfect with the badges removed.... but unless you're looking you might mistake it for one as is! :)

Not sure what "numbers matching" means.
The tires don't look quite right to me. Maybe it could use whitewalls or maybe white lettering on the tires.
Is that an extra fan between the grill and the radiator?

Not sure what "numbers matching" means.
Numbers matching simply means that all the serial numbers on the engine, transmission, and differential are all correct for the car. In the 60's, 70's, and 80's there was a LOT of engine, trans, and differential swapping going on. If the numbers don't match, you had better take a much closer look at the car to make sure it's not a clone before you shell out the big bucks for an original. Shoot, even a good clone of a rare car is getting expensive nowdays.

That looks quite a bit like a F.A.S.T (factory appearing, stock tire) class car, is it?
