Well, At LEAST you GOT the Bee. (Mine flew away before I tripped the shutter)
It looks like the shallow DOF got ya, as it's a bit out of focus. I'm sure this is due to the extremely shallow DOF that macro is known for. Can you post your camera settings? I started shooting macro at F/4, and found it to have very little in focus on my shots, and was advised to use a much smaller aperture. FUN, isn't this? ;)

I think my lens is the main reason....handheld it is the wrong type for macro work..I am looking to get some extension tubes and try them on my 18-55mm kit lens...that may offer some clearer shots....but yes, Macro work is an entirely new world and I love it.
