Hi all!

I was wondering, is there anybody here experienced in studio lighting setups who would be willing to show some techniques to us?

I was thinking of showing an image/diagram of the light setup (how many, positioning, orentation, bounced / not bounced, illumination strength etc.) and then show the resultant photo's of the same setup (a model with some object around her - some highly specular, some not, some transparent, some translucent).

I can not find anything decent on the web around this. The knife blade sticky is a good reference though.

Thanx

Johan

See, I dot have any, and unfortunately I do not have cash ATM to buy a decent book, so I was hoping for somebody to give some basic pointers. This will help when you pay the studio by the hour if you know the basics of light setup.

Here is a web site that has some great images with diagrams and explanations on many of them. Scott Smith's a master at lighting and setup.

A book would be a better bet. Perhaps also read the massive "show us your studio" thread on FM.
