This child intrigued me no end. I could never get her to loosen up, to laugh and play, so when I saw this photo, I had to take it. She let me take several, and this was the best one. C/C appreciated. And if someone has a suggestion for a title, I'd appreciate it. For some reason, a good name for this shot eludes me.

Thanks, Aj and Airedale. There's something almost disturbing about this shot, and at the same time it's very sweet. It's definitely something unusual...and all it was was a child laying on her belly on a rope hammock.

I appreciate your compliments and for looking. if anyone has anything else to add, I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts, too.

It is like she is intently watching something, waiting for something important to happen. Her eye is almost mesmerizing. Nice shot.

Thanks, Mercy, Mo and ToneB...

Mercy, there was a quality of anticipation with her, but I think that's just her way of being. Indeed, the eye itself is rather mesmerizing...

Thanks for looking, and I appreciate the compliments.
