These pics were taken right after a fast-come-and-go storm. I managed to take some shots of the cloudy sky before I got wet. Here is one, you can actually see the rain coming down on the far side over the bridge:

Leo: I love the heavy sky on the third one. My C&C is that the bottom is too dark (well, at least from this cheapy screen I'm viewin from). On the first, I would crop from right where the land meets the water that way the focus is at the illuminated sky. But I really like the quaintness of them all.

Thanks for your constructive comments. I actually have a cropped version, but I prefer the original one as it brings more contrast to the picture. As for the 3rd one, I palyed around with level in PS, it does look better. Here it is:

i can't really comment on the contrast because anything on my home screen is way too dark but for some reason this revised image looks spectacular on this here old, dark monitor.
