I think these are nice! Good use of available light and clean processing, they will love them im sure.

I think they're slightly underexposed. Apart from that, you've captured the relationship as it is. Stunning.

I'd go for a tighter crop in #1 to get rid of the bulding in the top left of the picture.

just a tad underexposed but that might be the mood you were looking for. good job

I played with the exposure on all 3 shots, and even by just bumping it up bit, I thought they didn't exactly look like what I was going for. Again, it's all pretty subjective, but I thought the slightly under-exposed\darker look made the photos look more relaxed and comforting (kind of like a warm'er white balance does, in some cases).
I'll play around with them some more, to see what I can do. :)

Thank you! I used my 5D Mark II, and borrowed my friend's 70-200mm f/2.8L IS... A FANTASTIC combo.
