hey cute picture, hope you don't mind but i had a little play around in photoshop.

I would suggest maybe that it would be better if it was slightly more exposed - I upped the exposure in photoshop, dodged the face a little and dodged and burned the eyes.

Nice edit Izy, unfourtanely I do not have Photoshop nor good knowledge about it. Just using Lightroom here.

I'm surprised how much you actually enhanced the eyes.

I am not familiar with lightroom so I am not sure what it offers in terms of image processing. It seems to be very popular on these forums, so it might be worth making a thread asking for advise on post processing?

If you shoot in RAW I would definitely suggest to get photoshop - you can edit things like exposure and white balance etc after you've shot the image - it's very helpful. The edit I made took no more than 2-3 minutes, and while it didn't do a lot, it gave an already really good image a little pop - in my opinion of course!

Those are the simple steps I used to enhance the eyes :)
