What implications are there to base (or draw upon) a commercial logo around either Adobe's PS and/or LR icons?

Bad idea? Or legal grey ditch?

I'm no lawyer and i can offer no legal advice but i know of a web hosting company that borrows VERY HEAVILY off of those logos you mention.

Adobe took it from the periodic table, so its not like they came up with something "never done before". Its just that they are large enough that everyone has seen them.
