Top shot, I had a look at the 'biggie' and you've captured some nice detail in the rock and the snow's pure white....that's a challenge metering for a shot like that, well done.

I just love that place - now clocked up 6 trips to Grindelwald valley over the years. You have really caught the atmosphere and grandeur of it - lets see more!

I have some great slides (yeah slides!) of the EMJ range reflected in the lake at Bachalpsee the other side of the valley - did you get up there?

Cheers! Hopefully Mrs mil and I will be staying at and around Grindelwald soon. It was overcast and raining in the valleys and we thought it'll be poor up top having had virtually nil visability on Mount Titliss the day before, but we were lucky. Sadly, we didn't get to Gstaad although we did a lot of travelling in one week.

I have a piece of rock from that mountain when my wife went to Jungfrau.
I love mountains. I hope someday I can see that in person.

Went out with another couple tonight... think weve decided on Suisse Rail Passes for the next Holiday.... see ... some real good has come from these shots.
