Here are a couple from my very first (gulp) bridal shoot. I wish I knew how to embed photos so I could do more than two at a time but such is life in my world ;) Please give me any advice, constructive criticism, or anything else you think I need to hear. I am looking to learn & grow here. Thanks!

I personally really like them, but someone else will have to give you better feedback for these from a technical perspective..

Who needs technical perspective? I'm just looking for validation!

I posted 2 more in a different thread (2 more from Bridal Shoot). I don't know how to embed photos (tried once but they didn't show up) but since you asked I am allowed to post more, and will when I get home today. Thank you! :D

google free photo hosting site. sign up. upload picture, copy "direct image code" or whatever the site you sign up for calls it. click on the little picture icon beside the link icon and past the code.

Thanks! I see where tha is on my Flickr, but I think even there the photos are degraded, since i have to resize them to fit there, too.

Ok, gonna give this embedding thing a try. C&C me till I cry ;) (not really...please.)

Ok it didn't work. i don't know what i"m doing wrong. I went to where the photo is on Zenfolio, clicked the "share" button, copied the url from the "photo" box, clicked the postcard icon in the tool bar here, deleted the http:// and pasted in the url for each photo. Why isn't it showing?

2nd try:

Don't use the postcard icon.... Just type in URL directly into this text box

I like the overall capture of the scene. I know one of my mentors would tell me that you shouldn't pose a gal with a little extra heft in certain ways, but I don't think he knows everything. Looks nice to me!

Thanks, but I would be interested to know what your "mentor" advises about less-svelte girls, because this girl did ask me to not include a couple of shots
one of them the last one) because she said she has "back fat". I'm still learning LOTS about posing, and would love to know some hints for next time.

the girl doesnt' have extra heft. she is no size 0, she looks pretty average to me. It looks like she bought a dress that didn't fit her. Keeping her arms up and out will help with the to tight dress. really like the second and third on the second attempt. 4 and 5 I can't see...

You're right, she is average size (I'd say about a 14) & I do think her dress is just ill-fitted. As to your advice: a great many of the keeper shot were like the ones here with her arms up, hands on the window frame.

Can you still not see 4 &5?

can't see 4. i think that is the one that was missing the whole time. i just thought it was two images. it says, content protected by owner.

I wanted to ask you....did you use flash inside or natural lite? did you bounce at all? what lens?

Thank you, Joelle! This was actually the bridal shoot, the wedding isn't till May 29.

On these images I did not use any flash; in fact, for the entire shoot I only used my flash on a few shots (not posted) becuase there was so much light from the huge arched windows. Mostly I used my (husband's) 24-70L. If I remember correctly, all these posted were shot with that lens. LOVE it!
