I like them both, excellent color saturation, sharp focus and good composition. Keep up the great work.

Don't like how the guy is cut off on the first one. Too much grass in the front and I'm not liking the angle.

And the 2nd photo. I'd like ot see more detail. Not be so far away.

I'll be as more constructive in criticism as I can ;-)
First shot is taken in low camera angle. I like that alot. Just seem to me as some movie shot. Big smile of that girl makes this shot very interesting. I know that keeping control over 5 different individuals in the same frame is not easy job. Here is what I think you could have done better...
Look at the girl in the middle.. You'll see a tree growing from her head. :-) You could avoid that by placing camera more to your right. ;-) Her face and the face of a boy on the right side is overexposed. You can fix this in PS by blending two layers. Sounds like 2 minute job.
I like the scene in second shot. Composing the scene could be better. We don't see 5 i 2005 and the girl on bike is covered by her friend in front of her. I like the light setup. Can you tell me how it was done?.
Both shots carry some kind of brownish cast, is this your intention or just bad RAW conversion?

Great shots. I like photos that tell stories.

What kind of lighting was use on #2?

Thanks for the comments. It really helps me make the photos better, and iw ant them to be as close to perfect as possible

The brown cast is intentional. Its suppose to create sorta timeless warm feel. The second shot was down by using multiple flashes. (Sigma super Dgs)

Again, thanks for the comments. will try to fix all the problems pointed out.

I will repost them later :D

Which one looks better? further away and getting to see more, or closer up with more detail?
