Hey guys, I finally got done editing the shots from my last wedding in March. I would like to know what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong. Also I have all the photos here davidlivingstonphotography.com (http://www.davidlivingstonphotography.com/Weddings/Jase-and-Rachel-Rohde/11753682_Y23kj#829906971_8s6Vf) I want to know if you guys think I have enough to put together a nice album.

#8 is the winner for me. The others don't particularly grab my attention. #2 seems too cold. #5 biiiig feet small face. #6 is too wide for my liking with little going on with the edges. Perhaps do a pano crop on it?
My take anyway.

Really nice set the blue shoes and flowers are GORGE! My only humble suggestion is 4 is a little blown out on the bride face and #5 I love the location I just wish you would have turned the feet and legs,so the faces would be closest to the camera instead of the shoes. The curved lines there were gorgeous. To save it I would crop under the arm of the chair, still preserving all that gorgeous ceiling but getting rid of the feet/legs. How many tiems can I use gorgeous on this post? :0 Overall you should be so proud. I lovve them a lot.

Thanks for the suggestions, I have a few more shots of them walking in the street, I will probably do a pano crop on this one. Thanks.

I think really nice work overall. #2 is definitely way cool, and I am curious why the bride's ring isn't facing forward? That is her ring inside the groom's ring, right? It's an interesting shot but definitely the weakest of this set. I really like #6 but I'd crop it down a little to eliminate some of the focus from the vehicles. I really love #8.

these are great but his feet in #5 just look unnaturally large.

I really like #6, and #5 make him look like he has huge feet...he probable does anyway ;-)
I love #8, what was the camera and flask settings?
Thanks,
Ben

another vote for 8 being the money. #1 kinda threw me off for a second, wasn't sure what the subject was in the photo, but finally saw the tiny dress lol. I think the rest are awesome, you did a good job capturing the emotion. The shoes and ring shot is another winner for me! Great set!

He is a huge guy anyways, and I was shooting at 16mm, so it stretched his feet waayy out there. I thought it was kind of funny, because there huge anyways But it's good to know that it looks goofy.

1/60 - f2.0 - ISO200. Don't remember flash power, but I'd guess 1/32nd power on my 430ex. Triggered with cybersyncs, and shot through an umbrella.
Thanks for the replies guys.

Love this set! #8 is my fave, then #6, then 4/ I want to love 2, but to me it would've been better if the shoes were more in focus? Nice idea, though. You should be very pleased with yourself!

I can't decide if i like the first one. love the idea but just don't think it works because the dress is so small in the photo. i think in the dress photos the dress needs more attention than it's given here... i dunno
maybe turn down the purples in number 2? I see to much of it in the ring. Or maybe even just completely desaturate the rings.
8 is by far the best... great!

Thanks guys,
It's funny how you just don't notice some things when looking at your own pictures. I will desaturate that ring, thanks for the tip.
