I noticed a listing in my local paper for Everyscape.com. They appear to be building a site where businesses can have a photographer come in create a 360* view of their business and then it is hosted online through their website. I have applied for the position just to see what happens (have not asked for too much info yet.)

I am sure this will not be anything steady but maybe I will make a couple bucks on the side. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this company; they do seem to be advertising for photographers everywhere.

Thanks
Erik

I also applied for Everyscape.com and am scheduled for a phone interview later today. I am pretty skeptical about this job because I have read about similar companies that are sometimes labeled as scams. I read that Everyscape pays $25 for the first pano and $20 for each additional. I would think most places would only require 1 pano but if you shot a hotel or a bigger business that needed up to five panos, the money wouldn't be bad.

I will be using a Canon 30d and an EF-S 10-22mm that I already have. I still haven't decided on which panoramic tripod head to buy (or make) if I get the job. I live on a college campus that is near the downtown area of the city I live in so I could probably just ride my bike to many businesses. And supposedly Everyscape pays for your gas if you have to drive far. I'm just hoping to not have to put any of my own money into the job except for a possible panoramic tripod head and I'm only expecting a small income that will keep me from having to get a typical 7.25/hour college job. Has anyone had any experience with this kind of thing before?

I've been looking at these guys as well and I'm curious what they pay. They sure do require you to have a lot of expensive equipment...the pano tripod head, the fish eye lens, etc...I don't mind putting a small investment into those if I think the pay will cover it eventually.

Had my interview today, the pay is like Jeremy said, $25 for first pano, and $20 for the rest after. Typical shoot is 3-5 panos and about 1 hour for a 5 pano shot shoot. lol...So basically could make around $75-$100 a shoot.
