As 10D has ISO 3200 as extra option I'd like to ask 1D users who have a similar menu option:
1. Does selecting ISO 3200 affect other ISO's dynamic range or image quality in any way?
2. Is ISO 3200 merely added to ISO selection list (that you can change via thumb roll), or is is a separate setting that has to be toggled activated from menus?
I ask these questions as I wonder why 3200 (and ISO 50 in 1D) is not listed in 10D ISO list permanently. There must be a technical reason for that: overall sensor sensitivy curve change, increased power usage, heat problems etc. --- What?
