Cool dog

I was walking around a reservoir on a very hot day and I saw this dog keeping cool in the water. He turned to look at his owner and I got him.

i wish my dog was a water dog. Just likes to sniff - even the water.

I like the photo. The ripples through the reflection and of course the water itself just says, "Cool down." The dog is beautiful. Too bad there are a couple of bright spots on the head and tail but those are tough conditions to shoot.

Thanks for looking. Guitarman, you're right about tough conditions because the dog was in water that was heavily shaded by the trees on the bank. I got another decent shot of him but unfortunately he was facing away from the camera. :)
