I'm looking forward to do some portarit this sunday. I'm based in delhi and weather here is very hot hence its gonna be a bright sunny day. I got less equipment basically rebel xti and 2 lenses mainly tamron 55-200 and canon 18:55 any suggestions for the shoot. Its gonna be a guy i'll be taking picture of. And is it wise enough to use polar filters??
And i'm looking forward to shoot full size portraits..
Any ideas or suggestions are welcomed..:D

One technique for a sunny day is to have the subject in a shady spot. Under a tree, beside a building or under a canopy of some sort. Using a reflector to bounce light on your subject can help fill in shadow areas. Using fill flash, even during the day can help fill in shadow areas. Especially if someone is wearing a hat.
A reflector can be purchased from a camera store or you can improvise. A large piece of white foam-board is often used.

yup. that's good advice. it is especially important to have good fill light if your subject is darker skinned. it will make a HUGE difference.

You can also turn their back to the sun and have the sun backlight them. I have an article here with a little more info:

Kulwant, in Delhi during this time I will shoot late in the evening as during the day it will be real hot even in the shade. See if you can make a diffusion panel out of something or have one those popup ones.
