Hope the picture is not too big on the forums, if so i could make it a bit smaller if needed !

Are those little e.coli bacteria I see sticking to his leg hairs? rofl Nice shot! I love that it's on a lighter so you can really see how tiny it is!

Hehehe :D Thanks for the comments ! Really appreciated.

It takes some time before you can make a shot like this, i'm really proud it had a nice result.
So really the canon ixus 50 is a great camera imo!

You deserve high praise, this is one awesome shot, very impressive, I for one, would like to know exactly how you set it up, please.

No one needs to be that close to any insect. There ARE other things to macro shoot than insects!

It was quite standard, i had a little bit of help from the sun.

The sun was on the left of this picture, and i used the "*mycolor" function on my canon ixus 50, pressed the button for a macro picture and begged this handheld shot has no blur, maybe a lucky shot.. though i did nothing really special to get this result.

* The mycolor function adds light effects (especially good for store products)
like you can add blue effects red or green, and even select a color on your lcd so this color will be on the picture and everything else is just black and white.

Maybe i had a bit of luck setting the mycolor function to a blue style (check the lighter and the wings of the fly.)
