Anyone here ever participate in the Keep It Local Program?
I've never heard of it and had a gentleman call me to this morning about it. From what I understand a company sells these cards that have a bunch of local merchants on it with discounts for this and that. He said there would be no cost to me for the advertisement except whatever I offer to customers such as a free session.
Anyone participate in something like this and what was your experience?
Thanks!

Never heard of it but it sounds like something a smaller city Chamber of Commerce would do. Who was the guy affiliated with that called you? Could be kind of cool and a good way to get some business your way.

Yup, actually the one around here is a fundraiser where students at the college get the businesses to go in on the card and it's good for x-amount of time or something like that. The businesses are not charged, customers get a break, but they do have to buy the card ($5-10 usually). Not a bad thing all around the way I've seen it work.
