Every second of this performance was absolute pure bliss. Song selections drawing heavily from Nothing's Shocking and Ritual De Lo Habitual had me in a constant state of happiness. Sneakily being able to shoot the first four songs due to the security not really sure if Up The Beach was a song or not meant a longer time in front of such an amazing band. Mountain Song, Had A Dad and the almighty Three Days made up the four songs and when not shooting I was firmly planted to the ground, jaw open as Perry and crew created pure magic.

Later, when watching from halfway back Then She Did gave me goosebumps like I'd never had before. It's such a shame Eric quit the band after these series of show, however I'm counting my lucky stars for not only having seen them play, but also shoot them.

Incredible.

There's one more, but you gotta ask.

haha!! well i am 6'2" and with camera above head that makes almost 9' so yeah i'm kinda lucky in that regard! you can see the shadow of my hand and cam in 03 on dave navarro's leg :(

If you hadn't pointed out your shadow I never would have noticed. It just looks like any stray shadow that youd get in a concert like this.

#1 is epic in fact I think you could license that one out as a fan poster.

I'm really jealous of the lighting, they look like they were shot in the sunshine.

they were actually in the sun, but it was late afternoon sun without the harsh shadows and blow outs (except on perry's chest on 04) of earlier in the day.

Very nice Benon - #1 especially.

I too felt privileged to shoot them at Soundwave - one of the best live bands I've ever seen. You weren't the only one with their jaw dropping in amazement. Also an extremely photogenic band. I rate the shots I got of them as up there with the best concert photos I've ever taken.

Saw them at the first lalapalooza. Had 10th row center 2 rows behind the mosh pit. One of the best live bands I've ever seen and I've seen a lot of bands. Great shots...

I like # 1 and 5 best. All the rest, while solid shots, have various things cut off, which I find distracting. # 7 could have been a favorite except for the missing end of the costume.

sorry folks, i've been "away" for two weeks...

roadrunner, we ran a cover and feature story on Orianthi Panagaris two weeks ago, but to be honest mate i have no knowledge. what am i missing?

yep richard, i think we are in the exact same boat there! these shots are certainly up there with my very best. so stoked to have been able to see them with eric on board (albeit short lived!)

skif, i beg to differ, i'm not so convinced that the cropping on the others is too distracting to the shots. but each to their own :)

You missed nothing, I did. I don't have cable TV, etc, here, and simply was not aware of this very intoxicating young talented lady.
