I liked the reflection of the copse of trees and the river leading to the reflection of the hills behind.
Hence the title.

Edit - This is the river Brathay near Elterwater in the beautiful English Lake Distict.

C &C welcome.

Cameron, you seem to have developed a style, one that is certainly pleasing to my eye.

Terrific, Cameron. For some reason though, I find all the data around the picture distracting. The picture is so tranquil it deserves a "quieter" frame. Your copywrite alone would be nice. Just my $.02

Very nice, I particularly like the pink clouds and just to be a hard-ass I think it's a bit "soft" focus-wise. maybe the original is better than this web-version.

So we now are critiquing the frame as well? :) Don't bother looking at the frame! It's an awesome image!

Karen, I agree with you entirely but I'll tell you why I do it.
Many people, including myself, like to know the camera settings of the shot.
Also the guidelines on posting images suggest we should.
Now I am a bit lazy and can't be bothered noting and then typing the settings when a couple of mouse clicks in Mikes Framer ( thanks Mike ) will do the job for me.
I would never print the image with the settings included.
So I think you are correct in what you say. :)

Wonderful shot - where is it?

Sorry Damian, I should have mentioned that.
It's another shot from the Lake District ( my all time favourite place for photography and fine ales :) ). This is the river Brathay on the Elterwater side.

I agree wholeheartedly... think the word I used was "Terrific." Sorry if you thought I was nitpicking, but presentation is important too. :D

Regards,

I know what you mean, Cameron. I use Mike's Frame too (thanks Mike) and it sure makes life easier. Hope you weren't offended. If I have a thought I like to share it... and I hope others will do the same with me. The photo is beautiful, and I'll have to look up some of your other pics... sounds like you've got a good thing going by some of the comments I've read. Keep up the good work!;)

OK Cameron or Karen, where Do I find out about Mike's Frames? I've been looking for some neat ones and I like the idea of being able to put at least put my name on it.

Karen, not offended in the slightest.
I did say C&C welcome in the original post, so you were perfectly entitled to put your point and it is valid ( I also happen to agree with it ) Just too lazy as I said earlier. :o

Thanks again for your kind words regarding the rest of the image. :)

the framing is great as well. if i am not mistaken you got the technique from the famed photoshop guru, Russelbrown?

It's the river Brathay near Elterwater in the English Lake District.
I would recommend anyone travelling to the UK to visit the Lake District ( and the Scottish Highlands of course )

I did forget to add this in the original post.
One ot two people have asked this question so I'll edit the original post.
