Looks like when I take a picture of the sky I see 2 or 3 spots on picture when I look at it. I have attached a photo. What is is? 100% crop -- What do I do? Jimmy

How do you clean the CMOS if that is it?

Most likely dust on your sensor. You need to clean it. If you are nervous about doing that yourself take it in to a good camera shop and have them show you how. The reason I said have them show you is that you don't want to have to take it somewhere to get it done every time you need it.

Yep. Looks like dust. Lots of sensor cleaning info out there. Here's a good place to start:

Thats dust all right....20D is notorious for having dust straight from the factory. I just formated my computer or else I would post a pic of my 1st 20D and how the image looked right out of the box (looked like a sandbox). Luckily my local shop exchanged it for me, and while the second one still had dust spots, it was an amount I could live with. I just gave it a quick blow out with a hurricane blower bulb and its been good ever since......

All I used was the blower from an ear cleaning kit (hey! I have an ear infection :( ) Its probably not perfect, but close enough for me, and I RARELY shoot at F16 or higher.

You get used to the cleaning quite quickly, I have to clean mine 2-3 times in one day sometimes. I must say it's not always that bad as sometimes it goes weeks without needing it. It really depends on how dusty the area your shooting is and/or how often you change lenses. If it's the lens itself thats dirty always use a blower first, last thing you need is a scratch while cleaning it.
