Yes this has been PSed, the image itself isn't too pretty by itself so it needed some help. Mainly cause hey, we're in the middle of an Industrial Ghetto, deep in one, in the middle of nowhere with junk yards and other junk all around us. (note the van)

I guess 15-20 years ago someone thought it would be a good idea to open a sandwhich shop next to this (dumpy) automotive part shop. Well... hey they made a nice deck that is still around. I can't imagine this place lasted more then one summer as there is McD's, A&W, Harvey's and many other resturants very close.

Great capture and story behinfd the pic. Unfortunately, small enterprises are being nudged into oblivion by big companies in this world of ours.

Just talking with someone last week about how individuality, creativity and talent are being squeezed out to be replaced corporate selections for the sake of greed ... this specifically includes such diverse areas as the music industry (who would choose Britney Spears if there were talented alternatives available?) and computer technology. Huge corporations appear to either buyout independent talent or squeeze it out by unfair price competition (or threats or other illegal means) as we move into a move and more conservative society, apparently world wide.

In this case, I think it was a small fry trying to compete with the big guys. As those resturants were there long before this guy.

Speaking of Britney Spears, you need to look no further then American Idol (or other national idols) to see the type of music they want. Either the same old same old or worse, stuff that no one likes. Only music industry I know of that still lets artists be musicians is Christian, but even that is starting to all sound the same.
