I thought I had a great idea to mess around with crayons, and when I found one labeled "shocking pink", i knew i could do something cool with it. I just wasn't sure what... Ideally, I wanted to surround it with black and white crayons, but I couldn't find any, so I used blues instead. I didn't like the way the color one came out as it didnt stand out at all, so I tried, (and i am new to this...) editing it with a program. I don't have photoshop, but rather something called Arcsoft photoimpressions. Anyways, does this work? I think no, but I'm not sure...Let me know what you think, thanks!

Nice idea, and I like your unique angle however I think they kinda look like smokes :S

Keep playing :-)

It doesn't really work like that, but maybe if you decreased the opacity of the blue crayons and left the pink at 100% and then increased the brightness of the pink it would look impressive. I agree with MattL they sort of look more like smokes then crayons.

Yeah, it's not shocking enough. Also by the angle and lack of more crayons there isn't a sense of broken repetition.
