Here are a couple of bird photos with reflections. I captured the Male Wood Duck using my handheld Canon AE-1 and Canon 70-210 F4 in April in Stanley Park, Vancouver, BC. (Here's your duck Scottes!)
The Great Blue Heron shot was taken with my Digital Rebel XT, Sigma 50-500 and Manfroto tripod at Bruce Pit Nature Trail about 5 minutes from my house in Nepean (Ottawa), Ontario. The Wood duck was posted at another site previously but the heron is a first posting.

Both are great shots, Stephen. The Wood Duck is very colorful while The composition of the GBH is amazing. Great job!

It's somewhat rare to see a GBH that deeply submerged. They don't swim.

Thank you for your comments. I wish that I had my new digital while I was in BC. There were many ducks in Stanley Park but without autofocus I had a difficult time getting some clear shots/
Bob, I have a few shot of the GBH with wet belly feathers as well.

I like both shots, but especially the GBH. Perfect exposure with a very satisfying composition. Good job!

Very nice shots, and thanks for the duck shot - and a wood duck, too! Great!

the GBH is a great shot. I love the symmetry. As for the duck, I think a polarizer would've helped as all of the reflections make the shot a little too busy imho.
