I have done about 15 weddings now and I would like to ask some input from the fellow professional wedding photographer. I know one of the most important things to get is the wedding dress and for the color to be correct. I just order the Pantone Huey Pro and I have a Lastolite Graycard/white balance. I am now thinking about getting the X-Rite ColorChecker Passport. What I am wondering if I shoot the bride useing the ColorChecker Passport will I get a true color of the dress.
The information that I have read; I believe is that using the Huey Pro should give me correct color from my monitor to print (WHCC). But how do I get the Natural Color to the Camera and then from the Camera to the Computer. I hope that someone using the Passport can help me out with this and also is this the right way to go to get better pictures for my clients.
Thanks
Scott
