Not sure if this is the right forum for these

Just a few I managed to get last weekend. Didn't really get the sort of shots I wanted as we were too far away for the 70-200 to really get in close. Anyway, here's a few of them

Excellent work and very good reportage.

I like the second also.
We have some high tech cycles in Scotland, as you can see.
Chris Boardman might be interested in this one. :)

I saw the lead guy in the first picture and all I could think of was Fat Bastard from the Austin Powers movies. Sorry to stereotype. :)

thanks for the comments, was fairly pleased with the way these came out as I don't really feel too comfortable doing people shots :)

Very nice series. If you have the first one printed, you may want to re-crop as the white is evident in the lower right corner.

I'm a piper myself... 9 years now :) I've mostly played with the Army though, so haven't experienced many competitions in highland games (only a few though). Been in quite a few Tattoos... but not to Edinburgh during the Festival (my previous pipe band was o'er there in 2000, but was 2 years before I joined them).

I was in Scotland last October and I can't wait until I can go again! It was more unbelievable than I had imagined... which I was imagining for many years before. Beautiful place!
